Human Atlas is maintained by Christian Tzurcanu and provides interactive anatomy for general learning and reference.

Educational scope

Models are anatomical illustrations, not representations of a particular patient. Coverage, terminology and surface detail vary between sources, and some reference models are partial. The service does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medical-record access or interpretation of patient scans. Do not upload patient records or other sensitive personal information.

Availability and appropriate use

The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or error-free anatomical data. Hosting limits may affect availability. Use it for its intended anatomy-learning tasks; do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit unrelated sensitive data. Applicable rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.

Source and asset rights

The project source is distributed under its repository license. Geometry, images, terminology and linked material may carry separate source licenses; those licenses and source notices govern reuse. The Vitruvian logo source declares Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0. The plugin does not transfer ownership of source materials or grant rights beyond their licenses.

Third-party services

ChatGPT, Cloudflare, GitHub and linked reference providers have their own terms. Review the privacy policy for data handling and browser storage.
